Apocalyptic Witchcraft was founded in 2015 when two friends, both veterans of the extreme metal music industry, decided to launch their own label following the sale of Candlelight Records—where they had both worked—to Universal Music and Spinefarm Records.

The label's first signing was The Antichrist Imperium, and over the past decade Apocalyptic Witchcraft has grown rapidly, establishing itself as one of the most exciting and influential tastemaker labels in the extreme metal scene.

Fast forward to 2025, and the label is solely owned and operated by founder Conor Droney, also known for his work with FROM THE BOGS OF AUGHISKA. With a relentless commitment to quality and artistic integrity, Apocalyptic Witchcraft continues its mission to become the premier extreme metal label on the planet.
