UK tribal black metal collective Wyrdstæf will release their new album, "Primordial Bloodlines", on September 4th via Apocalyptic Witchcraft.

Rooted in the forgotten echoes of prehistoric Europe, Wyrdstæf draws inspiration from the animistic spirit of the Palaeolithic and Mesolithic eras; a time when early humans lived as migratory hunter-gatherers among the ice age megafauna. Combining layered throat singing, distorted guitars, field recordings, and reconstructed proto-Indo-European chants, the band creates a sound that exists somewhere between ritual, atmosphere, and ancestral memory.

Rather than simply recreating the past, Wyrdstæf seeks to channel it; conjuring ancient echoes through immersive and deeply primal compositions. "Primordial Bloodlines" journeys through glacial landscapes shaped by animism, memory, and loss; an invocation of deep time and the ancient pulse still buried beneath the modern world.

Primordial Bloodlines will be released on limited edition splatter vinyl, digipack CD, cassette and digital.
